Crispy and fried famous south Indian snacks. made of lentil (urad dal) mixed with onion, ginger, some herbs and spices serving with sambar, coconut chutney only.
Samosa cut into small pieces and topped with chola garnished with coriander and onion tamarind chutney.
A crispy, golden-fried pakoda from Courtallam, made with spiced besan batter and soft onion slices for a perfect crunchy bite

Honestly, I had heard a lot about chana bhatura, so I thought I’d try it. The food was amazing you’ll especially notice how good the poori is when it has a clean texture, which usually indicates that the oil used is fresh and clean. That really added to the great taste! We also ordered masala dosa, which was well cooked and tasted great. Perhaps the only downside was that the bhatura could have been served faster, as my brother finished his masala dosa before the bhatura even arrived. I also tried the Madras filter coffee it was just okish.

We ordered Dosa combo, podi dosa, Mysore Dosa and falooda. The batter was fermented to perfection. Sambar had an authentic flavour and the falooda was so good !!
I ordered tamarind rice to go as well !
The waitress and the front desk people were very sweet with the responses !!

Had a great experience at Magadhi Restaurant in Etobicoke recently—especially with their dosa! The rava dosa was perfectly crispy, just the way it should be, with that satisfying crunch in every bite. What really stood out was the sambhar—flavorful, well-balanced, and served hot. It complemented the dosa beautifully. Definitely a spot worth revisiting if you're craving some solid South Indian comfort food.
Hands down the best dosa I have ever had in Canada. We tried Thayir idli (dipped in seasoned yogurt), podi idli, Pav bhaji dosa, chili garlic dosa, special onion masala dosa everything was too delicious.
Our friends tried paper dosa, mysore masala dosa and they were also very delicious.
Best south Indian food I ever had in Canada.
We were here for Monday brunch and ordered Masala Dosa combo and puri plate with kurma and the delicious Rava Kesari. The masala dosa combo was sumptuous, and filling. All the 3 chutneys, sambar, masala were distinct, tasty, flavourful. I will definitely return here for more.
Sambar vada was excellent, and chana bhatura was surprisingly better than many places known for it. Crispy dosas and nice filter coffee. Rasam was just okay. Quick service, and they add a 15% gratuity for groups of six or more. Overall, a good experience—could visit again!
